For your consideration is a 1985 BMW K100RS motorcycle in Alaska Blue. This is a European model imported from Belgium with a clear California title and registered until 5/8/2014. Since this is a Euro model the instrument cluster is in kilometers. The current odometer is 116,581 kilometers which = 72,440 miles. These K100s are known to get 400,000+ miles. Another feature of being a Euro model is the ability to turn off the headlight. The bike will need a paint job. The lower fiberglass side fairings are cracked and will need repaired or replaced. The rest of the body has paint chips and scratches but is good. The overall bike is in really good condition. Comes with BMW integral side cases in excellent condition. The seat is in great condition with no rips or tears. All lights and horn works. Comes with BMW heated grips but they aren't wired up. They work if wired up. Brakes are good with lots of pads left. The engine is strong and runs great. Very reliable. I never hesitate to take it for a long ride. The clutch and transmission is good. The rear spline was checked and lubed about a year ago and is good. No major oil leaks but the bottom of the engine does get slightly moist after a long ride. Stays dry if just sitting for long periods. I don't get spots on my driveway or anything. It doesn't burn oil and I never have to top it off. New oil and filter change just before this listing. I'm also including a used Clymer K100 repair manual and 2 K100 oil filter wrenches (one for stock and one for aftermarket filters).
