This is a rare early 1955 BMW R50 in near perfect condition. Here is a partial list of what has been done and replaced in the restore process. New paint and striping, tires, rims, stainless spokes, stainless exhaust, solo seat, wiring harness, clean slingers, new bearings, seals, gaskets, pistons, crank by Cycleworks, battery and all small items you see in the photos. New ignition coil recently installed, carbs rebuilt, kickstarter shaft and gear replaced and transmission rebuilt with new bearings and seals for $1,000. Comes with tire pump, original tool kit and pouch. Original owners manual, a newly powdercoated Flanders sidestand, original Albert bar end mirror, rear fender rack, and a hooded chrome tail light trim. This is a one kick bike that starts and runs like new. Everything works as new, all lights, indicators, speedo, horn etc. I have a new title from the state of Maine. Mileage is 24,142 km (14,968 miles)
