This motorcycle spent nearly it's whole life on display in a living room. This explains the lack of any corrosion, deterioration of any rubber components, or fading of the paint. Everything on the bike is original as it came from the factory except the battery, engine oil, and air in the tires. Everything on the bike operates as it should and it runs fine. If you attended the vintage motorcycle event at Barber last week, you might have seen me riding the bike around the property. The bike earned a people's choice trophy at a motorcycle show last summer. I have an open title for the bike which shows the bike as a 1969 model, for reasons I can not explain, other than titles often showed the year the bike was sold by the dealer back then. I have the tool kit and 1966 owners manual for the bike. I also have a copy of a full page ad taken from a magazine in 1966 that shows a motorcycle exactly like this bike if the auction winner wants it. The only significant cosmetic flaw on the bike is a chip in the paint at the very front edge of the front fender. It doesn't show up in the pictures but I would be reluctant to have the fender repainted to correct this. Overall, I think this is one of the nicest unrestored S90's in the country.
