Great little vehicle. VERY CLEAN. Needs some minor engine work.. The timing belt was replaced with the Cams 180 out of sync. (This does no internal damage. It just reverses the movement of the valves, has one opened when the other should be opened) About a $400 fix. No explanation for the Accident reported on the VIN check, nor visible signs of a previous accident. Just a minor dent in the rear, driver side, corner and a few minor scratched which is normal fro a 99.. Previous owner turner in title after a family member replaced the Timing Belt and mis-aligned the cams, so buyer would need to get a salvage title. Previous owner state, "The Water pump went out after replacing the tires, radiator, radio, shocks, brake pads,rotors and tire cover." I replaced the Battery and did some clean up work. ENGINE TURNS. NO COLLISION NOISE, SCRAPING SOUNDS. YOU CAN HERE AIR PUMPING FROM THE EXHAUST. These are all good signs indicating the engine is 180 out of sync. Eventually, I will have it fixed myself and the price will be $1200 ($500 for vehicle, $150 for battery, $400 for repair, $150 for my time and this auction)
