Up for auction is a 1992 Chevrolet G 30 Sportvan that I bought and set up for towing but have not needed it and now I am selling the trailer ,(see my other auctions).This van was government owned in the state of Virginia and used for transporting children,but they had little need for it ,and it was sold to me . The van was not subjected to winter, and very well cared for ,it has never had any rust except a very small area of surface rust on the inner lip of the driver wheel opening ,thats it . The underside is like new ,underside of doors in good shape too. The van starts right up and runs super quiet,shifts smoothly. Tires are brand new,I also replaced the idler arm,pitman arm,and all tie rod ends. A/c blows cold, has rear A/c also but the rear blower has a noisy fan, has auxiliary rear heater.Engine is a 5.7 350 fuel injected v8, transmission is a 4 speed electronic control heavy duty ,axle is 4.10, has positraction limited slip differential, heavy duty cooling,and transmission cooler,heavy duty 100 amp alternator, GVW 8,600 capacity.I wired it with a trailer brake controller ,and installed the highest weight capacity Reese hitch, to pull a trailer ,but never did. The exterior paint is very nice,with a few scratches /dings, interior is in very good condition ,with a little vinyl cracking on rear passenger arm rest, 3 rows of seats remove easily for cargo hauling, vinyl flooring throughout, radio sounds good, has electro dimming mirror,tilt wheel. This van can be driven cross country,I have gone over it thoroughly to make sure it would be reliable.
