While the WORKING five-digit odometer shows 20,417 miles and is said to be just 120,417 miles, the actual true mileage of this car cannot be 100% verified. This collectible classic is being sold here with clear and clean California title in hand! This classic 2002 is being offered here for SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN THE COST OF THE SALES TAX ALONE ON A NEW AND, QUICKLY-DEPRECIATING BASE MODEL 3 SERIES SEDAN! THE BODY AND TRIM The exterior of this car is in "presentable" nearly 100% rust-free condition overall. Structurally this car is very dry, clean and rust-free with perfect shock towers front and rear. The older repaint is far from concourse show-quality with a pretty dull finish overall. all bumpers and trim are intact and goos original condition. There are two isolated corrosion spots on the upper rear quarter just below the rear side window. [see photo link for detailed pictures]. All glass looks to be original and in very good condition. The wheels are in very good condition with near new Michelin tires. THE INTERIOR As I hope is articulated in the photos here, the interior of this car is in QUITE GOOD mostly all original condition. All of the gauges, odometer, lights, blinkers and horn work well as does the period-correct Panasonic cassette stereo. The heater fan is inop and the factory A/C components are missing and inop though the fan for the a/c blows fresh air. The carpets, door panels and headliner are all in very good original condition as is the near-flawless original dashboard! The seat upholstery has been redone in cloth and needs redoing on the front seat cushions. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This classic '02 starts, runs and drives well! The engine starts right up and runs quite well though I am told it needs a head gasket replacement with current smoking out the tailpipe when warmed up. It accelerates well with good shifting, nice solid braking and tight suspension components and responsive handling.
