The Volvo P1800 was made to compete with the styling of the British and Italian sports cars of the '60s. This model is the more desirable P1800s with the upswept bumper, larger more powerful 2 liter Volvo 'B20' pushrod engine and dual SU carberateurs. The manual gearbox puts the power to the rear wheels and has an electornic overdrive switch on the dash for highway cruising. This car is gorgeous and among the cleanest P1800s on the road now; however, this is no show car, but it is a reliable daily driver with minor cosmetic flaws in the paint, alone. Upgrades include an electronic distributor, BRAND NEW Bosch starter, alternator, and voltage regulator and Interstate Battery. The door and gas cap locks are all matched and the windows and door latches all work. The engine was serviced by previous owner at 24,696 miles (have paperwork, was in 2005) this included new thermostat, belt, timing gear set and seals, CVR housing, carb adjustment. Also included is a custom fitted car cover and wool front seat covers. This car is a real pleasure to drive and gets compliments and thumbs up all of the time!
