Vehicle Detail

Reluctantly I am offering my 2005 Triumph T100 for sale. The time has come (and my bad back keeps reminding me) to hang up my riding boots after 42 years of total enjoyment. I''l be selling off my remaining three bikes, only keeping my 1942 Royal Enfield WD/CO, which is displayed in my home. I've sold a couple of my bikes here on ebay, the last couple being a 1956 Triumph Blackbird and a 1965 Triumph TR6SR. When the new owners received these bikes they were quite shocked at just how perfect they were (see feedback). All of my numerous bikes that I've owned, whether I restored them or bought them new were always perfect when they left my ownership. And this 2005 is no exception. I'm the only owner of this bike, having purchased new from a dealer in MN. This bike like all my others, has NEVER seen a single drop of water - ever. It has always been garaged and covered in my separate climate controlled garage that is used just for my motorcycles. This has been by far the nicest bike, both riding and mechanically, that I've ever owned. I've put 10,797 miles (mostly scenic backroads) on her over the years, and this bike has never been taken north of 75 mph. I ride at a leisurely pace, preferring to take in the scenery rather than getting somewhere in a hurry. This bike has never gone more than 1500 miles without an oil change (I know - overkill plus, but that's what I've always done to all my bikes), and has just had it done, as I have put her to bed for the year (as well as stabiled the gas, fogged the cylinders, taken out the battery and placed it on a trickle charger). This bike has had many tasteful accessories added, such as chrome rocker covers, Hagon shrouded rear shocks for that late '60's look, late 60's/70's style tailight and turn signals to replace the not so attractive stock ones (and to keep in the retro theme), western handlebars (more comfortable riding position), TOR exhaust, AI removed and jetted accordingly, and numerous other trinkets (such as the clutch cover in the picture). It currently has the bar end mirror, which is basically just for looks as you can't see squat behind you, but the original lollipop mirrors are included with the bike. This finish on this bike is the nicest I've ever seen - the tank was done by Mr A. Smith at the factory (he signed the rear tank tab) in the rare Opal White/Tangerine with gold pinstriping, and it is absolutely flawless to this day, as is the rest of the bike. Don't know what else to say about her, other than I seriously doubt you will find a nicer one anywhere. The title is in my name and in my possession, as it has been from day one. If you have any questions, please feel free to email them to me, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. This bike is available locally, so I reserve the right to cancel this listing prior to the end of the auction. As far as payment, a $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours after the auction ends, with the balance required within 7 days. The deposit can be paid via paypal, but the balance must be paid either by wire transfer or certified bank check. Shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer, but I will assist whatever shipper you choose in loading the bike. The bike will not leave its' comfortable home until all funds have cleared. This bike is being sold with no warranty. Good luck to all - whoever wins her will be getting an awesome machine! On Oct-12-13 at 14:32:12 PDT, seller added the following information: I've just lowered the reserve one last time, and in the next bid or two it will be met. Someone is going to be getting the finest '05 Bonnie in the country. Offers are in locally (which are higher than the reserve), but I thought I'd let the auction play out, although I still reserve the right to canel it at any time. Good luck to all.On Oct-13-13 at 06:04:51 PDT, seller added the following information: You're literally one dollar away from meeting the reserve. Don't miss out!!
