On the Auction Block Today is a nice solid Mustang Convetible. This was a one owner car most of its life untill 16 years ago his friend wanted it bad.he bought it and pulled the motor out and rebuilt it. He added some nice upgrades like a mild camshaft and roller rockers. It gives this car the power it should have and a nice mellow exhaust sound ( It takes off like a rocket ) He then proceded to cut the rot out of the floor pans and after that lost interest. I bought it from him 4 years ago and had a full floor welded in to give it the nice clean look it had at one time along with the trunk pan and rear rails. I stripped the car down to the bare metal and painted it hot rod black to give it that old school look. I added some upgrades myself such as a new gas tank, brake lines, fuel lines, new master cylinder, dual exhaust but no tail pipes yet. And of course, some shinny stuff under the hood.It needs a correct radiator. I had one from a 70 mustang I put in for driving purposes but should have a 66 to fit correctly. The top is good but the back window should be replaced. Its starting to let loose on the bottom and is faded. I also wanted to replace both bumper but haven't got to it. The windows roll up a little stiff and rear quarter window needs a plastic grommet put on the track to roll up. old one broke. Other than that,it looks nice clean and solid and wouldn't take much to turn this into a $25,000 car. I have the reserve set at a fair price for the condition of this car.
