Up for auction is a low mileage fuel-saving 2008 Ford Escape Gas-Electric Hybrid All Wheel Drive SUV. Only 50k miles. This vehicle does not appear to have sustained any noticeable water damage. Inside looks untouched and has no signs of damage. Runs and drives very nicely. Has been test driven for 50+ miles. Overall good looking vehicle. Most salvage paperwork will be checked off not actual mileage. Some states require a salvage inspection prior to registering/titling vehicle with salvage paperwork. Condition Drivetrain Engine starts right up and runs strong. 2.3L 4 cyl engine. Only 50k miles. Shifts into and through all gears/speeds smoothly as it should. Runs and drives very good. Hybrid system functions as it should. I've been averaging over 30mpg around town. Looks to have been a well maintained vehicle. Vehicle has been test driven for approximately 50 miles. Has new battery. Exterior Paint has all of its factory shine and glistens in the sun as you can see. No major dents or rot/rust on the body. There are a few small dings on the edge of the hood (see pic). Body is in very nice condition as you can see from the pics. There are some scuff marks and a small impact hole on the rear bumper. Other than a chip or ding here and there the body is clean and straight as you can see in the pics. Interior Interior is in good condition with minimal wear. Seats and floor are not ripped or shredded. Dashboard is not cracked or faded. There are a few tiny holes drilled in the center console and lower dash trim where some equipment was mounted. Power options all function and there is no evidence of water damage inside (see pic under seat). There are a few light stains in a couple spots on the seat that could probably shampooed out. The tire pressure light is on due to a faulty pressure sensor in one of the rims. Fresh and clean inside. No smoke or pet smells. Wheels and Tires · Tires have approximately 40-50%+ tread remaining. Matching set of factory alloy rims. I have test driven approximately 50 miles and only superficially assessed the condition due to the salvage nature. There may be repairs required and additional defects. As I recommend to all my customers, you should have your mechanic look over any newly purchased vehicle before extensive use, especially a salvage/flood. I have tried to list as many details about this vehicle as I can, including known defects. There may be deficiencies that I am not aware of so buyers are encouraged to inspect in person.
