Up for auction is a 1955 Plymouth Savoy that was customized around 30 years ago and then cleaned up about 3 years ago. The motor is a 318 out of 1980's Chrysler Imperial. It runs great and has a new Holly 4 barrel carb with a new dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers. The front brakes have been converted to disk with the master cylinder upgraded to a dual chamber master cylinder from a 70's Duster. The ignition has also been upgraded to electronic ignition. The important thing to know is that this is not a show car and is not perfect by any sense. This is a solid running, cool looking, work in progress that you can drive and have fun with right away. It runs fine, drives fine, and starts and stops without any problems. There is rust, some leaks, the interior needs work, the passenger window has a bullet hole in it (I never fixed it because I liked it as a conversation piece). This is by no means a show car. If you want this car to be perfect, you will need to do a full restoration. I didn't put the mileage down, because I have no idea what the actual mileage is. Everything works, and I used this as my daily driver for a few months last year with no problems at all and a ton of people checking me out on my way to work.
