It's time to part ways and make room for another gem. I followed this car for years and missed out in 2007 when it was sold on eBay, I was then fortunate enough to find it for sale 3 years ago and scooped it up! I have only put 2000 miles on it since then but I did plenty of work and upgrades to make this car perfectly drivable! Feel free to buy and drive home without any issues! This is a perfect example of a 1986 Renault R5 Turbo 2, this is the 60th car out of a total production that year of 143. Fully Legal with California CARB sticker. 39,158 miles currently on it. VIN# VF182200000500060 (eBay does not recognize) Pearl White with Tan Interior in excellent / outstanding condition. Few minor chips in front bumper otherwise 100% Includes a new optima red top battery, rewired with all new relays and fuses, battery kill switch, new stereo, JL audio speakers, new electric fans and control panel. Oil sump and full tuning all recently done along with a new master cylinder. Real Sparco Racing seats, and everything works, all the gauges - factory turbo boost gauge works and all! All the lights work, as previously mentioned - the car was all rewired will fuse links and proper relays - see the pictures. Includes: On-board Halon suppressant system, Automatic pre & post turbo lubrication pump, additional front cooling fans, factory aluminum group 2 wheel spacers, group 2 Cibie light kit, factory 200hp stage 2 power kit installed in France at Centre Renault Alpine at delivery. In 2007 the car received new factory rims, new radiator. I have 2 custom car covers, indoor/outdoor. Original spare tire, engine cover tool, glass, etc. Everything works and is in great shape! Vehicle comes with a TON of literature about the R5, as well as all the original documentation from the day it was imported to JFK Airport 1/17/1986 all the way up until recent!
