History: Original Unmolested Sprint 200s are very rare. So many have been converted to v-8s. It is a shame, because with the manual shifter this is a really fun to drive car. The inline 6 has a lot of torque and gets surprisingly good gas milage. This is a true classic, over 55 years old, but still really fun to drive. It will only go up in value. Car was originally built in San Jose California. It spent its entire life In the San Jose area, Until i brought it to Sacramento. Have original bill of sale. Have original Keys. Has original California Black Plates. Car has original spinner style wire wheel covers and original center console. Original owner had car until 2001 At which time odometer read 90201. I am fourth owner over all. Do not know true milage. Car has always been garaged and babied. This is a true numbers matching survivor. Condition: I would describe this as an excellent driver. It would need little to make into a show car. Body is incredibly straight with no serious rust, no rot. A little surface rust is normal in these cars, but this car is exceptionally sound. There are a couple of dings, nothing that takes away from overall impression of car, none bigger than a dime. Paint is shiny and beautiful. Pin stripe is correct matching light blue interior. Interior is new and perfect. Headliner is new and perfect. Carpet is in great shape. Gauges are beautiful and all work. Radio is original including dash speaker and works like new. All glass is original as far as i know and clear. Padded Dash is original, has one small crack. Car comes with an uncracked dash, not a reproduction, but an original. Did not install, crack does not bother me. Have reproduction decals for air cleaner, which could be rechromed. Original engine runs great starts right up. Full power no smoke. Transmission rebuilt with correct asynchronous gears. New original look Whitewall tires Full tread. What it needs: Reverse lights do not work, might even be bulbs never tried to fix. Turn signal return does not always work, simple fix. Drivers door needs new window seal. I don't drive in rain, so never bothered to replace. Drivers window crank works but sometimes leaves a small space at top of window can be pushed up easily. Engine compartment would need to be painted if car were to be shown, looks fine for a driver. Oil pan was mistakenly painted ford Blue matching engine, not correct for show. Modifications: Emissions equipment removed by previous owner. Have all original parts. Headreasts installed on front seats as a safety measure. Can easily be removed. Car comes with new front seat covers if you want to take off headreasts. Car also comes with matching three point seatbelts, not installed.
