I am selling my 1974 BMW 2002. I bought it recently with plans to use it as a daily driver but my situation has changed so I need to go in a different direction. The car is in really good shape but does need a little work. The previous owner said that the engine was rebuilt 10,000 miles ago and the carburetor was rebuild six months ago. It has an automatic transmission that is in really good shape too. No slipping. I can attest that the car runs really strong. There is a squeak that is audible when you get up to 60 mph or so that I think is just a wheel bearing. There is no rust on the shock towers or in the wheel wells. The interior is in really good shape. The dash is flawless!!! The driver's seat needs some work and new carpets would be nice but the interior is otherwise in good condition. The stereo tower will need to be rebuilt as well. The body has a couple of small dents and could use new paint. There is also damage to the windshield on the passenger side (does not obstruct the driver view). The blinkers and reverse lights are out too (could be just a fuse). This car has great potential to be a driver after minimal work or a great project car for a full restoration. Or pick it up for a really nice parts car. The buyer will be responsible for picking up the car or making arangements for it to be shipped.
