I have owned this fantastic car for just over 5 years, and in all that time, I have never tired of owning it, driving it, or even looking at it... for it is one special car. I am only selling for physical reasons. I have a fused spine, (among other ailments) and with the car sitting so low to the ground, I often have difficulty getting in or out of the car. In fact... I often kinda trip or fall into or out of the car. Not a pretty sight. I am disabled, therefore I have no job to go to. That is why I have only put approximately 16K miles on the car in around 62 months of owning it. The car spends it's time mostly in our garage. I drive it to the store 2-3 times a month. The car's history report shows that I am the 3rd owner but, the 2nd owner doesn't really count, for it was the dealership from whom I purchased the vehicle from. This car is in near-mint condition, showing absolutely no dents or dings. No scratches, scrapes or paint chips. I have always had a bra/mask on the car. No rust or corrosion. The cloth top is perfect, with no holes, rips, tears, stains, or loose threads. I have always faithfully used BMW convertible top products to clean, protect and waterproof the top, and it shows. The tires have between 3-5 thousand miles on them, and still look like new. The engine is in like-new condition. At 60 thousand miles, the engine is barely broken in by BMW standards. The car is quick, going from 0-60 MPH in around 5 seconds. The BMW dual exhaust sounds awesome, powerful, and gives the car more horsepower and better MPG over a stock 3.0i Last June I spent $2100 dollars on a new (not rebuilt) AC Compressor, Drier, receiver, etc. Talk abut cold air... In the trunk, the new owner will find some goodies, consisting of 4 new Z slotted and drilled brake rotors, 4 red abs caliper covers and 7 quarts of BMW pure synthetic motor oil, plus an oil filter. I have the owners manuals for the car, that will be in the glove box. The trunk and the interior are super clean. The leather seats under the Australian Sheepskin seat covers are in very good condition with slight wear. Still nice for their age. The original tools are in a pouch in the trunk. I have about 250 miles on a recent oil change/service. The new owner can reinstall the covers. The seats look basically like I mentioned above. There is some sort of spot on the right seat bottom. I do not know what it is, for it was there when I purchased the car. That is the only flaw I see, and if I were forced to rate the interior, I would rate it a "rock-solid" 9.5 out of 10. No stains on the carpeting and in the trunk. Extra clean in every way... I have this vehicle for sale locally, and reserve the right to end this auction early should the car sell.
