You are bidding on my beautiful, unmolested 1988 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 with 67k original miles. This truck has been babied and well taken care of all its life and it shows the love and care throughout. The body panels are straight and unmolested. The frame is clean and the interior looks like it rolled off the factory floor. The engine and transmission run, shift and drive like a brand new truck and it goes down the highway as smooth and quiet as a new Silverado would. Everythng works on this truck from the power windows to the power door locks, air conditioning and cruise control. I would not hesitate to jump in this truck today and drive it across the country from coast to coast. The parts that needed replacement due to age such as tires, belts, battery, wipers (and strangely enough, the alternator) have been replaced for safety reasons. I also changed out the front parking lights as they had yellowed from age. Every else, including the exhaust, are the original 1988 stock parts. Like any truck this age there are a couple of minor, non mechanical issues with the truck that were they fixed would make this truck pristine. The headliner, like almost every GM product from the 1980's sags a bit and needs to be reglued. The front left drivers fender has a few small areas where the paint has flaked off in a couple of spots in the silver area. No rust just the paint has dried and popped. Another GM issue that is common with the cars and trucks from this era. The paint every where else on this truck looks incredible. Every where I drive this truck I get compliments on it as it looks like a time capsule. You will not be disappointed in this truck. The only reason I'm selling it is I have too many vehicles and need to thin the herd down some. You will be hard pressed to find another Silverado in this condition for this money.
