Vehicle Detail

1972 Ford Bronco Green exterior with removal top I have owned this truck since March of 2006. It was custom built by a mechanic from High Gear Performance AutoCare out of Atlanta GA. It was used locally in the Memphis area for 1 and ½ years and then put in storage Fall of 2007. The truck was last titled in 1990 (which I have copy of). I did not title the truck but can provide bill of sale. (It was explained to me at the time of purchase that vehicles older than 1985 do not have to be titled in the State of Georgia. ) In mid- August of 2013 the truck was taken to local repair shop. I spent $1200 on engineer work: Installed new battery, new carburetor and manual choke cable, new starter and solenoid, spark plugs and air filter. Engine compression tested (140#/cylinder), drained oil and gas and refilled. Engine starts up on first crank and runs really well. Additional information I received about the truck:1966 - 289 cu. in. rebuilt engine. 1966 289 Heads 194 intake roller set Electronic ignition Electrical fan Shorty ceramic headers from Wild Horses 202 exhaust system Electric fuel pump (Holley) 1979 Ford 9” rear axle 1979 Dana 44 front Axle (out of F-150) Modular housing 1979 NP205 Transfer case 1979 NP435 4 speed transmission Warn alloy inner and outer axle set Billet 1350 yoke Warn chrome molly shafts Detroit Lockers (513 gears) WARN Premium locking hubs 6 point roll cage Lecarra steering wheel Wild Horses front disc brake set Wild Horses rear disc brake set 38” TSL Super Swampers mounted on aluminum rims (Tire tread like new with under 100 off-road miles) Light set mounted under front end of vehicle (see pictures) This vehicle is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Would consider trades for a Ford Escape or a Subaru Forester. The link below is a cold start of the truck along with a brief video overview of the Bronco while running.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=342iTDqmzioOn Sep-19-13 at 15:58:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Front Ball Joints need to be replaced I do not have the time to replace them before the conclusion of the auction, but if you contact me before the closing I am more than willing to pay a fair price for the work and parts. On Sep-20-13 at 06:54:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I had asked my son to add the message about the suspension system. It should have read "two front rod ends need replacing" not ball joints. The truck has a custom link setup used to stabilize the front axle. The link setup uses two rod ends per side (upper rod end and lower rod end) that connect to a bracket on the axle. The lower rod ends are broke. The upper rod ends are okay. (A pair of chrome-moly rod ends cost well under $100.) I added two more photos that show the link setup and broken rod end.
