800x600 Great opportunity to own and restore a European Hi-Performance Classic. 1984 ½ Volvo 245GLT wagon 77k miles. Factory Intercooled Turbo, 4sp w/OD, Full power. Blue with black leather interior. All accessories work. This is a very rare model, do your research and you’ll find out that this is the Hi-Performance Volvo that started it all. I bought this car in 1993 from the original owner with the intent to restore it. The car has been in dry storage since 1996 and was last run in 2010. Unfortunately it is not currently running. The engine spins with good compression. I have lost storage and hate to see it sitting outside in the weather. I don’t have time to restore it, life got in the way with kids, house and job. This car is certainly worthy of a full restoration by someone who knows and appreciates the quality, value and robustness of the 240 series Volvos and the 1984 ½ GL Turbos. Before storage the following original OEM Volvo or IPD parts were replaced: OEM parts: Brake rotors and pads, ball joints and tie rod ends, Turbo oil lines, CAT-back exhaust system, O2 sensor, Cam timing belt, Water pump, Cam seals. IPD parts: Upgraded Water Cooled Turbocharger, front and rear sway bars with urethane bushings, main fuel pump, Boge Hi-perf gas struts and shocks, Pirelli P6 tires Spare parts new in box included: IPD Radiator, new Factory Volvo, complete GLT Clutch setup inc. pilot, throw-out bearings , flywheel (used and serviceable), pressure plate, clutch plate, rear main seal and clutch cable. Extra set of Boge rear shocks and 1 ft strut. Other parts including extra oil filters, factory turbo gauges, Electronic Control Unit, Overdrive unit (used and serviceable), misc. switches, relays and hardware, 4 steel rims. Everything Volvo I’ve collected over the last 15 years goes with this car. Floors are good. The body needs minor bodywork, see photos. I’m including all necessary parts such as rocker patch, a used fender, bumper, front air dam, turn signal . I have described the condition of the car to the best of my ability and have listed photos that tell the story, email with any questions about the car and I will answer you as soon as possible.
