THE OVERVIEW Offered for an appreciating new owner is this classic 1979 Alfa Romeo Alfetta Sport Sedan! Finished in gloss black over light grey cloth/velour interior, this rare classic Alfa sedan sports a great running 2.0 liter inline four cylinder engine mated to the 3 speed automatic transmission. Stopping power is provided by four wheel disc brakes. The non-working odometer shows 94,XXX miles with the actual mileage of this car unknown. This cool classic features 15" Alfa alloy wheels with excellent Khumo rubber, beautiful wood steering wheel, huge sliding sunroof, heads up display speedometer and a few more cool things. This Alfa is being offered here for SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN THE COST OF THE SALES TAX ALONE ON A NEW AND, QUICKLY-DEPRECIATING 3 SERIES BMW! THE BODY AND TRIM The exterior of this car is in "decent" to "good" condition overall. It is most definitely NOT a concourse ready example. I am told by the previous owner that the paint is original with a few touched up areas where there is some surace bubbling near the window seals. The trim is all pretty presentable as well. THE INTERIOR As I hope is articulated in the photos here, the interior of this car is in good to very good condition overall. It has a large sliding sunroof, beautiful factory wood steering wheel, a nice cd stereo audio system, all of the gauges and controls work with the exception of the a/c and odometer. This car has a cool aftermarket heads up display for the speedometer reading. The door panels, carpeting and seat upholstery are in quite good condition. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This classic Alfa shark starts, runs and drives well! The acceleration is good, the transmission up & down shifts perfectly, the brakes stop ok BUT need replacement of the brake booster [part included in sale]. Also there is an exhaust manifold flutter [not too bad] that needs new gasket replaced. The car rides and handles well with the tight suspension and excellent steering and cruises nicely on the highway.This is still a quite satisfying car to drive down the open road!
