HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN THE COOLEST SIDE CAR EVER!!! AND I DO MEAN EVER!!!! FACTORY 1966 IZH JUPITER WITH FACTORY BME SIDE CAR WITH 127 KILOMETERS, OR APPROX. 86 MILES!!!! WOW!!! MOTOR STARTED AND RAN THIS SUMMER BUT IT NEEDS CARB TUNING DUE TO NOT MUCH RIDING TIME ON IT SINCE NEW IN 1966!! NEW 6V BATTERY INSTALLED AT THAT TIME. I BOUGHT THIS THINKING I WAS GOING TO MATE THIS COOL SIDE CAR TO A MID 80'S BMW FOR A COOL 'RIDER' BUT ONCE I GOT IT I HATED TO SEPARATE THEM SINCE THEY WERE MATED AT FACTORY IN 1966, I FIGURED I SHOULD LEAVE THEM TOGETHER IT HAS BEEN IN CLIMATE CONTROLLED SHOP SINCE I'VE OWNED IT ( OVER 4 YEARS ) IT WAS BUILT DURING THE US/USSR SPACE RACE AND THE SIDE CAR HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE "SPACE CRAFT" MATERIAL ON THE SEAT COVER AS WELL AS THE 'PURSE ATTACHED INSIDE THE CAR, AND EVEN THE ORIGINAL CAR COMPARTMENT COVER HAS THE SAME MATERIAL!!! HAS ORIGINAL TIRES MADE IN THE USSR AND THE ORIGINAL TAIL LIGHTS ARE MATCHING AND IN GREAT SHAPE AND NOT CRACKED. IT IS MISSING THE WIND SCREEN BUT I HAVE A TEMPLATE FOR THE CORRECT SIZE (THANKS TO MY FRIEND LUKAS IN RUSSIA!) MOTORCYCLE HAS THE ORIGINAL PINSTRIPES ON IT BUT I THINK THE SIDE CAR HAS BEEN REPAINTED AND IS WITHOUT PIN STRIPING BUT I HAVE SCHEMATICS OF THAT TOO!!! ( AGAIN THANKS TO LUKAS!) BOUGHT THIS TO TAKE MY DAUGHTER FOR RIDES IN BEFORE SHE GOT LUNG TRANSPLANT BUT NEVER TOOK HER FOR A RIDE IN IT DUT TO BUSY CARING FOR HER, NOW SHE HAS NEW LUNGS AND IS ABLE TO RIDE HER OWN BIKE I HAVE NO NEED FOR IT, SO I LETTER HER GO TO ANOTHER GOOD HOME!!! BIKE IS SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY >>NO TITLE !!( EBAY MAKES ME FILL IN SOMETHING) BIKE IS LOCATED IN TUTTLE OKLAHOMA AND MUST BE PICKED UP THERE ANYTIME DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS( 6AM TO 9PM) ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.On Sep-16-13 at 20:25:49 PDT, seller added the following information: this motor is a 350 two stroke twin with a single flat slide side float carb(this motor design was used for many, many years in IZH's)this particular bike was taken to BMW in San Antonio, Tx to get runningit had frozen pistons from sitting and low miles,they installed new pistons and new plugs and got it running(original pistons and plugs come with it)they called the owner and he never came back for it, it was sold and went through a few hands before I purchased it many years agoI installed a new 6v battery and I cleaned the carb andstarted the motor this spring off of an aux fuel bottlethe tank is dry and clean and I did not put gas into it.the pipes are rust free and solid, same for the rest of the bikeready and clean and rare enough for museum display orperform fluid checks and ride it.
