This is an all original 1999 Honda Civic Si. By all original, we mean that the engine has never been swapped, and all of the VIN numbers match up. It is becoming tougher and tougher to find original Si's due to there desire by crooks and thieves. The motor, transmission, and all body panels minus the hood are factory and match up with the original "EM1" VIN number issued to this car from the Honda factory. As for a quick back round on this car, it was a new car trade here locally from a dealer near the Pennsylvania border and was recently brought up from Texas. The car is in excellent cosmetic condition for the year and miles with no rust to be found anywhere on the body. A large quantity of photos are provided by us of the car so each potential buyer can be confident in what they are buying. The only paint flaw you can see with a quick glance of the car is some chips in the front bumper (pictured below) We want each buyer to experience a smooth transaction and to enjoy their new car. Featuring a 1.6L B series Honda engine with 160HP from the factory mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, this was the affordable sports car of the era. The only mechanical issue with this car is that when shifting at the higher RPM range (over 5K) into third gear, it will make a grinding noise from time to time. This was diagnosed to be a syncro by our mechanics. We are selling it like it is as it is still very driveable and is still a great car. The tires are over 80% tread, the brakes feel good, and the car drives down the road smoothly as it should. As for modifications, there are only some cosmetic ones and suspension upgrades. There are no mechanical modifications. Mechanically the car is 100% stock. Modifications will be listed below. As for options, everything functions as it should including A/C and power steering. All windows open, the sunroof works, fog lights light up, and the HID headlight shine bright. The aftermarket radio upgrade is a nice touch to the car featuring much more options including DVD and GPS if you install an SD card. Modifications - Rear drilled and slotted rotors, full TEIN suspension, front and rear strut bars, Enkei rims, HID headlights, center console radio, rear battery relocation, rear tow hitch, tinted headlights, aftermarket tail lights, and a muffler. The muffler is only the muffler, basically for a sportier look. The car is still quiet and not obnoxiously loud. All buyers are welcome whether in state or out of state.
