This 1959 Ford Galaxie 500 2drht is a California car that has spent the last 10-15 years here in Arizona. The body is rust free and it has never been patched or repaired. As you can see the paint is not all that good. I personally like it and I would not repaint the car but it is a matter of choice of course. A lot of money has been spent on it in the last 5 years or so. The original 312 engine has been rebuilt, (I was told it is a 312, I can't tell a 312 from a 292 so I'm not sure but it is a Y-block), the automatic transmission has also been rebuilt, brakes were rebuilt, the interior is new and we just installed 4 new tires. The radiator was also redone at the same time. Everything works on the Ford, lights, blinkers and even the wipers work. The Ford was ordered new with Power Steering. The unit was leaking so the previous owner removed the PS unit. It is still with the car in the trunk so it can easily be reinstalled. The Galaxie is running and driving and can be used as it is for a long time, if you don't mind the paint on the car. A $2000 deposit is due within 48 hours and the balance is due within 7 days.
