Hello and thank you for checking out my auction for a 2003 Dodge Durango with the 4.7L V-8 SLT 4X4. This SUV was very well taken care of for the years we owned it. About a month ago it experienced sudden engine failure while driving at highway speeds. It will need a re-manufactured motor or a used motor to get it cruising again. The transmission and all major mechanical components including air conditioning and power accessories were all working fine prior to the engine failure. A mechanic told me that it "threw a rod", when you try to start it oil does in fact leak out the lower portion of the engine. Other than the engine, the only real defect is a slight crack in the driver side rear tail light as seen in the pictures. This SUV shows very well for its age but it has its normal parking lot scratches or dings from doors or carts. This truck is to nice of a vehicle to send it off to the bone yard so I would love for someone who wants to put a motor in it win this auction and have a great condition safe SUV! It has a very sought after black leather interior with minimal stains, I did not professionally detail it, I simply went one over with a vacuum and what you see is what you get. It is equipped with the optional 3rd row 7 passenger seating which comes in handy to take the extended family out on trips to the beach or to the mountains! The tires are about at their half way point with plenty of life left in them once you get it running again. The middle and third row seats fold flat as you can see from the detailed pictures for those quick runs to the home improvement store or Costco when needed! Although I use to sell a lot of high end smart phones while in college, I have also sold many personal vehicles and more expensive items on my account. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding, remember this is a no reserve auction so the highest bidder wins this SUV at the end! Payment- A $200 standard non-refundable deposit is due within 24hrs of the auction ending using paypal, the remainder of the balance for the vehicle can be paid by cash, money order, or bank transfer in person when you are ready to pick up the vehicle. I am located in zip code 92883, about 30 mins for Ontario International airport or an hour for LAX International. I will hold the vehicle for a maximum of two weeks after the auction is over for no additional charge so you can secure shipping or towing. I have a truck I can tow this with no problem but no trailer, and a trailer runs about $60 a day, and my truck gets about 10 miles per gallon towing so if you live within 250 miles of me, I am willing to deliver this vehicle to you assuming you pay in full and pay the cost of gasoline and the trailer. I think a better bet would be to hire a car transport if you live more than 250 miles away as they tend to run about $450 to a maximum of $800 and they can ship this clear cross country.
