This car was purchased in 2003 and was hit by a tree while being driven by a teenage joy rider (my daughter) about 6 months after purchased. Under age, no license, no insurance, not covered by my insurance vehicle was never fully repaired. Radiator support and radiator, a/c condenser, fans, bumper etc. were damaged. I removed damaged radiator support and installed new one (slipped right into place) but never had it spot welded in. Continued to make payment and have pink slip in hand, this “IS NOT” a salvage title. Tags on vehicle are 2007 but will guaranty that registration fees have been paid through 2013. Never received tag do to inability to smog and left registration incomplete as per DMV. Along with stated parts mentioned earlier this will also need a hood and front windshield along with some other misc. parts. I have looked up most of the needed parts on my favorite parts web site www.rockauto.com and estimate parts to put this car back on the road will be $1200/$1400. This car has been garaged and stored outside off and on for the past 10 years and shows some minor scratches and dings on exterior of body, a broken antenna, and obvious damaged pictured from accident. Aside from a little dirt and a small tear in the back seat (see picture) the interior of this vehicle is show room new (almost has the new car smell). This car runs and sounds GREAT, although it can only be ran a driven a minimal amount of time for obvious reasons. I have flushed the fuel system, drained and cleaned tank, and will include a new fuel filter. I have installed a new fuel pump and will include new fuel gauge sending unit (old sender non-operational). I would recommend a brake flush as well but they are working. Battery seems to be in good shape and holding charge (but no guaranty). Tires are mismatched due to installation of a pair of them on my father-in-laws Kia a few years back. This car would make a great project for anyone willing to put in the time and want a “LIKE NEW” car for a used car price.
