Vehicle Detail
This is a 3 owner car that I have now cared for during the past 6 years. This Corvette is all original, excepting for 1 re-paint (approximately 10 years ago). Mileage is documented at 23,049. Rally red with red interior is documented with tank sticker and trim tag. All #'s matching with no modifications. Loaded with factory options including: factory AC (that has been completely gone through with new expansion valve) and blows cold, 4-speed, 327/350 HP, 370 posi rear end, power steering, power brakes, headrests, AM/FM radio, all tinted glass (including original windshield). Paper work includes tank stick, factory owners' manual, sales brochure, and maintenance records going back to 1984. Both sets of keys. Mechanical updates include aluminized exhaust system with mufflers, new master cylinder, new windshield washer pump, new battery, new radio speakers, tune-up, new filters with all fluid changes within the past 500 miles, Goodyear radial tires have 95% wear left. The mechanicals have been completely sorted with the exception of the clock not working. Headlights and wipers operate flawlessly and all 4 original T3 headlights are present and working. Fiber optics work as originally designed. This car is at a secondary home and I no longer have time to drive and enjoy. I have taken the car as far as it can go, short of a body off restoration which this car doesn't need! I have shown the car at regional car shows and always received trophies, with the last show having received the award for "Most Significant Car." The car runs cool, AC is cold, no engine smoke and engine idles smoothly and pulls strong. No issues with annual safety inspection or emission testing each year. This is the perfect combination of a car that can be shown and displayed, and can still be driven and enjoyed with pride. If you are looking for a true time capsule, survivor to take to NCRS for judging this is your car. My reserve is realistically low as I am not looking to hit a homerun on sale price. What I am looking for is a good home with a new caretaker that will truly appreciate what a special little car this is. Good luck in bidding.
