FOR SALE: 2006 Porsche Cayman S with 6 Speed Manual Transmission Hello. Thanks for taking a look at my Porsche I have for sale. I’ve decided to sell my well cared for Porsche Cayman S due to some recent wedding expenses. This Porsche has spent most of its life in California and has yet to see any snow or road salt. The car is in excellent shape. With only 73k miles, it will keep its next owner in the driver’s seat for a while. The color scheme is the popular blank on black (black exterior / black interior). This Cayman S is as nice as you will find anywhere, it is in fantastic condition for a 2006. The interior looks excellent, with virtually no signs of wear on the leather. Exterior is also in excellent condition with only a few very small rock chips in the front. All interior trim is tight and in great condition even the cup holders are in great working condition. No warning lights are on (i.e. no check engine lights, etc.), and this car runs and drives beautifully. Each and every power option in this car is working correctly. This includes all of the power windows, locks, audio, etc. The air conditioning is cold, and the heater works just as well. The stereo head unit is original; however, the stock amp has been upgraded with two Alpine amps (one for door speakers and one for a subwoofer). The speaker wire for the subwoofer is routed for easy installation of a subwoofer, if you so choose to put one in. The system sounds excellent without one in my opinion. As you can see by the pictures I’ve posted, this Porsche has nothing to hide. With all of these pictures posted you can judge for yourself the condition that this vehicle is in! The engine is a powerful, well respected and proven 3.4L horizontally opposed six (6) cylinder. With the dual overhead cam and variable valve timing it produces a nice 295hp @ 6,250rpm and 251 ft-lbs of torque @ 4,400 rpm. Darn good power specs for the size of the car…it really moves. Better than the speed though, is the handling. Some folks refer to well handling cars as “like being on rails” and this one truly lives up to that saying. The wheels and tires are all new within the last 5,000 miles. The wheels are 911 Carrera style and look like they would cut you if you touched them. I opted for the black center caps which, in my opinion, are a nice accent. I have the original wheels. If you want the original wheels, we can work out a final price. This vehicle runs and drives very well and is in great mechanical condition; you are more than welcome to have a mechanic check it out. SHIPPING & PAYMENT: I’m not experienced in shipping but I am willing to help coordinate it with you. I am also willing to meet you half way to drop the car off too you (~250 miles or so max). A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction end. Full payment due within 7 days. Payments excepted are cash in person, bank wire transfer (preferred), or certified check* *Even with a certified check, I will need time to take the check to my bank and verify the funds are good. Sorry folks, but there are fake certified check makers out there!
