Thanks for looking and good luck. 2003 BMW 325XI - 2.5L AWD Sedan My wife works from home, but she has the occasional client meeting that she needed a reliable car to drive to. In September of 2011 we bought this for her for $12,500 (Original MSRP over $35,000). She has loved driving the car so much that we upgraded to a 2010 328i. We are sad to see our beloved E46 go, but we have to make payments on the new one! While we owned it we made the following upgrades and repairs in addition to regular maintenance: (07/2013) - Front Rotors and Pads(05/2013) - Weather Tech Front Floor Liners - Dirt and spills stay in the liner! (original floor mats Are in the trunk)(05/2013) - Left front window regulator assembly (01/2013) - Turn Signal Housings and Sockets(10/2012) - Fuel Pump (Purchased from BMW Dealership) (07/2012) - Thermostat Housing(07/2012) - Water Pump(07/2012) - Coolant Expansion Tank (05/2012) - Dr. Vanos Repair Kit (05/2012) - All Valve Cover Gaskets(05/2012) - Oil Filter Housing Gasket (05/2012) - (6) Bosch Platinum Plus 4 Spark Plugs (02/2012) - Rear output shaft seals (repaired at BMW Dealership) (02/2012) - XENON HID Headlights with LED Halos (the brightest available and they worked in any weather Michigan could throw at them) - The LED halos are wired to come on with the dome light when the car is locked/unlocked (they fade off with the dome light) and when the key is in the "ON" position (09/2012) - New Key (purchased at BMW Dealership) (09/2012) - (5) Continental Extreme Contact 205/55 ZR 16 Tires w/Road Hazard Replacement Certificate Vehicle Condition Given that the car has 116,000 miles I think that it runs and looks amazing. It has good pep off of the line (better throttle response than the new one). It idles smoothly at 600 RPM and has no surges, squeak, rattles, shimmies, vibrations, or anything else to suggest anything might be out of whack. In fact, I was getting a little shimmy under hard braking so I replaced the pads and rotors on Monday (07/08/2013) and that fixed the problem. It handles beautifully in corners like all three series BMWs are known to. In the snow you cannot make this thing spin out. It uses computer control to prevent that from happening, they call it Dynamic Stability Control. You can turn it off if you want to have a little fun in the snow or if you're into rally racing. To do so you just press the "DSC" button next to the heated seat button. It also has Hill Descent Control which uses the engine and transmission to slow the vehicle if you are coming down a very steep hill. That button is right next to the DSC button. I hold a clear title in my hand. Heat, A/C, Cruise, Audio Systems all work great. The auction includes the two key/remotes and the emergency wallet key shown. To our knowledge the vehicle has never has any accident damage, but given the vehicle's age it has picked up a few cosmetic flaws: Around the front left wheel well there are two small dents from someone parking carelessly (see the red circles in the wheel picture). Near the rail where ski racks attach above the front passenger door there is a small bubble (see the picture with the mirror and the spare tire) this was there when we bought the car and it hasn't gotten any bigger.The area on the B-pillars where the seat belt rubs is starting to wear away the fabric (see the red circle in the picture of the front seats) this is a design flaw that they have since corrected by putting plastic in this area instead of fabric.The driver's side mirror shows delamination (the brownish area at the bottom of the mirror in the pic with the spare tire) this is easy to fix, you can order the glass online and pop the old one off and the new piece on, it just never bothered me enough to order it.The moonroof sunshade isn't sitting perfectly on its track, so some times it requires a little wiggle to close, it seems to be an easy fix, but I didn't want to take it to the dealership or rip the interior and risk breaking the plastic tabs that hold everything in place The passenger door handle is a little sticky so it requires a little more effort to open than the other doors.Paint could use a good "buff out" to be 100% The car is in Mount Clemens, MI and is available for test drives.
