Vehicle Detail

You are considering a 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe. The engine is a 1969 H code 351W 2 bbl from a Torino with 65,000 miles, as well as the FMX Automatic transmission. As you can tell from the pictures, the front fenders were replaced long before I got the car, and the primer on them is rusty. Also some rust-through on rear quarters. The rest of the paint is original I believe. I don't think there is any bondo in the car. Rockers and doors are fairly solid. There are a few minor dings on the roof and doors, but overall the car is pretty straight. The wheels and tires were new when I put this car together, fronts are 245/40ZR17, and the rears are 275/40ZR17. This car runs excellent and drives very nicely. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere, and I do! The interior is not perfect, but very tight. All the metal surfaces have been painted, It has a new heater core, dash cover, carpet, headliner, and front seat covers. (see pics) It has new throttle and brake pedals. The only things I know of that don't work on this car are the windshield washers and clock. The audio system is NOT included in the auction, but if the winning bidder wants it, we could negotiate. I do have the original in-dash AM radio, bracket, and dash piece. I believe that it works, but not sure. There currently is no speaker in the dash, however. The engine bay is very original looking, right down to the original air cleaner and stickers. It has some rust on the inner aprons, not too bad though. The carb is original to the engine. It has pertronix electronic ignition. The power steering works well, radiator has been cooked out. The battery, headers, and custom 3" exhaust with merge pipe are all new. (Sounds Awesome) I did some work on both front floors, and rebuilt the passenger side torque box. The drivers side could use it also, but the rest of the frame rails and underbody are pretty good. The gas tank and front bumper are new. And yes, the signal indicators in the cobra jet scoop work! This car looks, sounds, and drives great, even without all that shiny paint! Except for paint and perhaps a few details, it is otherwise finished. Although the fastbacks are more sought-after, these are becoming hard to find as well. I have tried to represent this car as accurately as possible, and tried to show the flaws in the pictures. Please ask any specific questions BEFORE bidding! I can send pics of certain areas also. Good Luck, and Happy bidding! On Jun-07-13 at 10:30:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that there are no cracks in the glass, there is a scratch in the windshield where someone turned on the wipers with a bad one. Also wanted to mention the car has front disc brakes. (not power) All gauges work.
