On Jun-25-13 at 20:37:52 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: All, first, thanks for you interest! Great to see folks willing to give the ole RT a good home. I have some news about recent repairs I had done. One of the repairs, fixing of the gas guage, appears to have not worked - meaning that it was working after I took it out of the shop, but I took it out tonight and the gas guage wasn't working again. The story (for those who would like to skip the details - go on to the last sentence "Bottom Line" in this update, but for others read on!) During Hurricane Sandy I attempted to help a friend get some gas (there was a gas shortage in the city after the hurricane) by siphoning gas out of the RT (it has a 30 gallon gas tank and I filled it up before the hurricane). I was unsucessful, and in the process I damaged the gas level float that is attached to the fuel pump - so I bought a new fuel pump, with float, that I had installed just last week. This involved dropping the gas tank and putting in the new filter with float. When I drove it from the repair shop it was working, but tonight, what should have registered half a tank was on E. I wanted all of you to be aware of this as you are bidding so there are no surprises for the winner when you come to pick up the vehicle. BOTTOM LINE, because of this I dropped the reserve price by $350, more than it would cost to replace the head on the gas gauge + dropping the gas tank one more time to make sure that the fuel pump connections were solid. Happy bidding, this vehicle is a tinkerers DREAM!!!
