This auction is for a classic 1969 Chevrolet Pick Up truck. It is a C-10 1500 long bed. We got this from an estate some years back as a daily driver for our son. He gave it back to us about two years ago and it has been sitting in the back yard since. It was a good running truck when he gave it back to us but we have not driven it at all. He did rebuild the carbuerator and put some grey primer on it but that's it. He did not do any restoration. As you can see from the only pictures I have it was red and white before he sprayed painted it. It has the original black patterned naugahyde bench seat which does have some tears in it, but there is no heater or radio. There were some rust areas on it but the body is straight with the exception of the back bumper which looks like it may have backed into something at the right rear. It still has the original wood slats in the bed but they are in need of replacement. The glass is still all good. It has the original 350 motor and should make a good truck if someone has the time to put into it. It will need to be trailered out as the left front tire has gone flat from sitting all this time and none of the tires is really great. We had lost the key when we moved but found it yesterday. My Grandson put it in the ignition and the truck fired up without a problem. Local pickup only as we have no way to transport this truck.On Jun-23-13 at 16:36:15 PDT, seller added the following information:My Grandson took the flat tire off and is putting on the spare. He said the motor sounds really healthy but it is out of gas, so he is going to put gas in tomorrow and let it run for awhile to get all the fluids moving.On Jun-26-13 at 04:03:51 PDT, seller added the following information: My Grandson said he was going to put a new fuel filter on today and the spare he put on is pretty slick so it will still need to be trailered until good tires are put on.
