1970 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe 4 speed all numbers match . Only 72k miles and still in its original Donnybrooke green (Never any paint work).. With original camel leather the car was purchased a few weeks ago from the original owner .. The car was purchased new from a Chevy dealer in Michigan .. We have the original bill of sale . The original protecto plate . Original title and original bank contract when purchased . Owner retired from GM engineering and have paperwork on the car that was never publicized. The car has been meticulously cared for .. The original Donnybrooke green paint is showing some wear and checks .. The paint is not at all in perfect condition .. But it looks perfect from 8 feet away .. The car has its original number matching 350 v/8 with the original 4 speed car has new tires and a list of things done to the car. See below from the owner. (And this car has only seen rain 3 times in 43 years)-Always stored inside of course. I can email many more pics. I could only put 24 on here. I have 102 pictures I can send. If you are not 100% happy with the car, you do not have to take it. This car is solid and tight and drives AWESOME! This car has never been listed for sale until now...... 1970 Corvette Coupe – original owner 350/300 (base engine) 72,000 miles 4-speed Chrome headers and side pipes Donnybrooke green (original paint) Original leather interior (camel) Never been in an accident VIN: 194370S402773 (built February 5, 1970) New parts on car Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires (P205/60R15). Z-28 intake manifold (3972114) Holley 700 double pumper carb (model 4150) L-82 camshaft (3896962) & lifters (5232670) Steel bell housing 3.70 ring & pinion (was 3.08) Z-28 oil pan, oil pump pick-up tube & stiffer oil pump spring LT-1 valve covers I do not have the stock exhaust manifolds The following parts are included with the car, but they are not installed on the car: both chrome rocker panels that mount behind the side pipes chrome ignition shielding transmission to steering column interlock cable back-up light switch that goes on the transmission Missing Parts Vacuum hoses for wiper door. The vacuum canister is included but it is not installed on the car. Windshield washer hoses Inner lip on rear fender wells has been cut back ~ ¼” Parking brake shoes are not on the car Passenger door wood-grain trim panel Clutch The stock clutch was replaced with an L-88 clutch disc (3886059), pressure plate (6273958), flywheel (3986390), throw-out bearing (908093) and shorter ball stud (3887159). This is a 10.4 inch diameter and 10 spline clutch. Documentation & Literature Original dealer receipt Original title Original owners manual Original New Vehicle Warranty document Original license plate Condition of car The original paint is chipped and scratched There is a chip in the chrome on the left rear bumper The following all work: headlight doors high and low beam headlights taillights all turn signals fiber optic cables heater/defroster radio all gauges seat belt reminder lamp clock cigarette lighter courtesy lights (under dash (2), rear storage area & glove box) The fuse for the clock, courtesy lights and cigarette lighter is not installed because if the car is not started for a few weeks, the clock will run down the battery The distributor centrifugal advance was re-curved and the vacuum advance was disconnected. The stubs of once used tow bars are welded to front frame rails A piece of each front grill has been cut out to allow the tow bars to extend through the grill The engine is started and is brought up to normal operating temperature every three months Vehicle Maintenance / Fluid Changes (the car has not been driven more than ~50 miles since any of this maintenance) Engine coolant / antifreeze – 2012 Air filter – 2012 Engine oil & filter – 2010 Transmission lube – 2010 Rear axle lube – 2010 Brake fluid – 2010 Front-end alignment – 2010 Other Fuel requirements are premium leaded. The distributor was re-curved, so when setting ignition timing, do not set initial timing, instead set total timing to ~34° to 38°. I believe the Z-28 oil pan is a 4-quart pan (plus 1-quart for the oil filter) as was the stock pan. The Z-28 pan has a slighter deeper sump which helps reduce oil sloshing. The deeper sump required a longer oil pump pickup tube. The oil dip stick is the stock piece. The transmission shift linkage is in the “short throw” position. From the factory the linkage was in the “long throw” position. On Jun-26-13 at 04:42:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a link to the 102 pictures. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ki1ghx98bpqvs3m/Vv2zvddDWm
