Vehicle Detail

Car will be inside building T for GM Nationals at Carlisle from Thursday 6/20 thru 6/23. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel auction if sold prior to end. I am selling to buy a 66-67 Chevy or Pontiac A-Body so if you have one we may be able to work something out. I have owned big block cars in the past and this car pulls just as hard at 20lbs of boost. Car needs to be seen to appreciate all the attention to detail during the build. Nothing on this car has been cut or chopped. It could be returned to stock in the future if so desired. Car is also listed for sale on turbobuick.com under the vehicle for sale section. Look and see what other Turbo Buick owners have to say about the car: http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/threads/1986-buick-gn-sale-or-partial-trade-30k.391952/ 1986 Buick Grand National Frame on build Everything new except body and interior (paint is new) Undercarriage/frame sandblasted and painted No expense spared, 80 k in receipts, everything documented, took three years to build Car built by Bill Moss Dyno/tune by Injection Connection Results: 623.2 hp/ 537.7 ft lbs at rear wheels 100% Streetable, everything works as it should (a/c, heat etc.) Way too much to list, entire box of receipts. The accidents that are listed as as follows. 1) The vehicle was parked underneath another vehicle that dripped brake fluid on the car etching the paint. The car was taken down to the metal and painted correctly. 2) Shortly after (my luck ha) the car was struck from behind low speed (5mph) while stopped in traffic. Rear bumper fillers had paint damage only and were repainted. I have receipts documenting both damages/repairs. 3) The original odometer in the car stopped working around 88K and was replaced with a used one with around 42K on it. Again mileage documented via repair order. Thanks On Jun-21-13 at 16:54:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Car is in BUILDING Y not T at Carlisle. Sorry for wrong location. Car is third in from building end. On Jun-21-13 at 17:05:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a number of people ask what the reserve is. It is at 28k. There is over 60k in receipts for just parts alone. The reserve is less than half of just the materials alone. I have also had a number of people ask why would I sell the car for almost a third of what I have into it. If you have ever built cars before you probably realize you rarely ever get out of a car what you put into it. I never built this car as an investment. I built it to have a low 10 second car that I could drive anywhere while still having all the normal creature comforts, seating for five, and a useable trunk. If you are just looking for a quick/clean GN there are plenty out there you can buy in the lower 20's. If you want the ultimate show and go GN that needs nothing this car is a steal. I am just ready for something different. Thanks and good luck bidding.
