HONDA CX500 CAFE RACERBUILT BY 63 WHISKEY Beautiful 1979 CX500. This bike was completely stripped down and built. Hundreds of hours have been poured into this motorcycle. Built by 63 Whiskey out of Northern California. There is 50k miles on this bike but the previous owner had the engine rebuilt. There is no receipts to prove this but the compression check proves so. Before this bike was put up for auction the following was performed; Valve adjustment, timing chain adjustment, carbs rebuilt, carbs ultrasonically cleaned, carbs were synched, new battery was installed, and new tires were put on. This is a daily rider bike and is ready to ride. The bike was completely stripped down to the bear frame and went through. All bearings have been lubed, simple wiring harness made, electronics hid, clubman bars, LED turnsignals, and LED tail light. This bike draws all the attention where ever it is. People are always wanting to know what type of engine it is. There is a salvaged title. I personally do not know why. The bike was in excellent condition prior to the build. It wasn't in a wreck or anything that we know of. Rides perfectly straight, beautiful condition, starts right up, runs strong. YES, this is a daily rider so there is a nick and scratch on it. The bike is being sold in "as is, where is" condition and the buyer is responsible for shipping. I will assist the shippers in the loading process.
