1970 Triumph Trophy

I have a 1970 Triumph Trophy 250 with 12,000 original miles. From what I understand, these engines were built by BSA for Triumph for just a few short years. I am 99 percent sure this bike has never been restored. I know a lot of them were red but I have seen this shade of blue also. It starts right up and goes down the road just like an old Triumph 250 should. Brakes are great. Everything seems to work fine. Obviously well taken care of. I am pretty sure the handlebars have been changed as these seem to be a little bit longer. Paint is great except for one small chip in the fuel tank which you can see in the pic. and a little bit of scuffing on the bottom of the rear fender as well, hardly even noticeable. It does need new fork boots/gaiters. It has a new battery, fresh clean oil, carburetor just cleaned and adjusted/been sitting for awhile, timing was set perfect, has original-style Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires. The tread is great but they are weather checked on the sides .Fuel tank is nice inside ,original seat is very nice, even has the original fiberglass exhaust shield. Chrome overall is nice has some minor and I mean Very minor, pitting here and there. Notice the original "Made in England" insignia on the right side of the frame down tube below the gas tank. This really is a very cool mostly original Triumph. Not many of these babys left. Especially in this kind of condition. The pictures really don't do it ANY justice at all.
