They liked us and the van enough to come back and trade it on a 2008 model we recently had for sale, which says a lot. Originally the van was a commercial fleet vehicle, and it came with a ton of service history. It's since been very well kept and really runs and drives just great. The paint was faded when it came in, so we had it re-shot in base clear and it stands tall now. The V10 Superdutys are very hard to find. This one has a nice no-road salt history, it's been detailed, serviced and needs nothing to get right to work. This is really just a great buy, you'll be pleased. exterior As mentioned, the van has new paint. It's not a show job, but it was base-clear and has good gloss with minimal overspray. If you waited a month and color sanded/polished the van, it'd look like new. There's no dents, very few little dings, wheels look nice, glass is all good, bumpers are straight, and tires have fair tread. The rears are quite good, fronts are ok for a while yet, but not new. There's no cupping, front end is good and tight. The van has a little crack in the front bumper lower valence, our cost is about $60 if you want a new one. There's a little chipped spot in behind the right front tire, and...that's really about it. The van really looks sharp, just like the photos. interior The interior is clean and hasn't been smoked in. It smells fine, not like old french fries and well seasoned baby garments. It's been well detailed but really didn't need much when it came in. The upholstery is all fine except a few hemmed spots on the 2nd/3rd row benches. The carpet looks like maybe we replaced it 6 years ago?, just better shape than it should be for a 13 year old van. The dash, doors, headliner all decent. Everything works, and it comes with a nice stereo, yep we have the faceplate. mechanical This van runs great! It had a ton of service documentation on the Carfax from the 1st fleet, and quite a bit on the second. We've sold several thousand cars since this was here last, but I'm guessing it was probably government fleet the first round. We've had it back through our shop, trans fluid looks new, motor sounds nice and quiet, it drives civilized, shifts perfect, no warning lights, leaks, or odd noises. These vans with the V10 are bomb proof and this one has pretty low mileage. It will probably long outlast your need for it. comments This is a neat van and a great buy.
