1973 GT750K LeMans You are looking at a 1973 GT750 Lamas better known as a Water Buffalo or to our friends across the pond a Kettle. You will not find a nicer 1973 on eBay this has been though a complete frame off restoration. Every nut and bolt has been removed and cleaned then polished or painted. I have a green Michigan title in my name just waiting to be signed over to the new owner. The Engine – The engine has been taken apart completely. The case has been split and the crankshaft has been totally rebuilt. I sent the crank out to our friends at LaBaron’s Power Sports in Almont, MI. They did a fine job on the crank with new seals all around and new bearings to finish it up. The rest of the engine was cleaned and tested and was still within factory specifications. And a new set of rings were used to make sure the compression was right up where it should be. The oil pump was removed from the bike and bench tested and pumps like a champ. The transmission was fully inspected and new clutch plate was installed. She shifts through all five gears very smooth and the clutch grabs just like it should. All aluminum engine covers and jugs were removed and polished to a high gloss. The Wheels - were removed and the hubs were polished and the chrome rims were shined up to a near factory shine. New tires and tubes were fitted to the bike along with 4 new brake pads on the front and fresh breaking fluid throughout the entire system. The Carbs – Have been taken totally apart and cleaned from top to bottom. They function just as they should with no leaks or issues. The Petcock – has been rebuilt, and functions just as it should, we have also added all new fuel lines. The Paint – is fresh with new decals and clear coat finish to ensure a long life. The Tank – The tank is clean and has not been sealed. It is a leak free tank without and crud build up. The Instruments – Have been cleaned and painted to match the rest of the bike, and show the original mileage for the entire life of the motorcycle. They all function as they should. The Exhaust – has all the baffles in place and has been cleaned and polished, the exhaust has no holes or leaks. It does have some scuff marks from use. All the exhaust cones are in place and look great, they have been repainted but are original to the bike, not re-pops. The Seat – The seat has been recovered with fresh foam and the seat pan has been painted. Tools – The tool kit is totally intact, everything that came with it is in the pouch. Electrical – Headlight, turn signals, horn, brake and tail lights work just as they should. Both High and low beam. There is a fresh battery in the bike and also a NOS battery cable. Fenders – The front fender was replaced with a New Old Stock fender. You will not find another bike with a nicer front fender. This is in perfect shape.
