1969 Firebird Beautifully restored, PHS documented, #’s matching, California car. The car sold new at Robinson Pontiac in Torrance, California in November 1968, and spent most of its time on the West Coast. It arrived on the East Coast approximately 6 years ago and is believed to have only 103k original miles. This was an extremely rare, one year only Firebird color in 1969. The metallic paint is stunning in the sunlight; at night, the car appears black. The body and undercarriage remain in excellent condition, as expected from a West Coast car. No undercarriage weld repairs as typically seen on similar East Coast cars. The chrome bumpers are in very good condition. Reconditioned Rally II Wheels are mounted to brand new tires. All new headlight bezels, fender inserts, 350 emblems, marker lights, rear shocks, and Pontiac tail panel letters. The car is powered by its original #’s matching 350 engine with approximately 6k miles on the rebuild. The engine and engine compartment are highly detailed. The TH350 transmission was recently serviced and a new posi rear professionally installed. A true dual exhaust set-up provides a nice rumble. New battery, alternator, radiator, gas tank, starter, hood tach, battery tray, rear window tray, hoses, plug wires, spark plugs, pcv valve, voltage regulator, rebuilt carburetor, etc. The heater core should be replaced if the car will be run in the winter. Engine is shown with a dress up chrome air cleaner as well as with the original air cleaner. The interior is in excellent overall condition, including a reconditioned original dash pad, new front and rear deluxe seat covers, headliner, wiper switch, radio, speakers, and newer carpeting. All gauges, lights, turn signals, windows, horn, hood tach, radio (new front and rear speakers), and reconditioned clock are in excellent working order. All of the windows go up and down as they should. The car starts right up, shifts strong, and runs great. The power brakes are in excellent working order. The front discs brakes (factory option) provide superior stopping power for a car of this era. The variable ratio power steering is a highly desired option provides more precise steering.
