I bought this BMW from a dealer. It will crank and run but they had given up on it. I am pretty sure it is the ECU that is faulty. They checked out all the sensors and they all checked good. They gave me a number for a place they were talking to for parts and troubleshooting. I called and asked about an ECU and they said $1500 for new one $750 for a used. Awwww heck we will let you have a used one for $700! I'm pretty sure this is why the shop gave up on it. I have seen used ECU's on here for $75-$120. I'm putting this up to see if anybody really just wants it more than I want to spend another $100 to see if thats the problem. I have put a reserve on it. If it doesn't meet the reserve I'll put the ECU on it and see if it will run better. If I do put an ECU and it does run I will remove and re-list with a higher reserve or ride the thing!
