I am the second owner of this 1979 GMC Jimmy Blazer ( chevy K5 blazer ) I purchased it in June of 2000 from the estate of a little old lady . I did a full restore in 2002 paint ,interrior ,engine ,trans , everything . This truck has never let me down it has set for 6 , 8 , 12 months and always started and ready to go on 03/14/2013 we ( truck & I ) went to the Arizona vehicle emissions testing passed everything (HC) ppm loaded reading 212 standard 220 idle reading 137 standard 220 . (CO) in % loadrd reading 0.04 standard 1.50 idle reading 00.00 standard 2.00 I put on new tires 05/11 and a new radiator 03/13 new battery and alt. 03/13 the interrior could be refinished or just do like me and throw a towell on the seat . I have too many toys and need to start to scale back that is the only reason for me to sell On May-04-13 at 17:59:04 PDT, seller added the following information:This is an Arizona truck there is no rust on this truck. the back cap is removeable and it is fun to drive with the cap on or off . In March I put in a new radiator ( high quality ) the cost was $ 275.44 I did the labor Tires have little wear on them they were $ 801.97 I just put in a new battery and alternater of course I cannot find the recept. I do have the original window sticker ,owners manual and maintenance schedule.
