Bog block Motor ( core support says 6.6L 400 ... emblem on fender says 454) I am not sure witch one it is. 3 speed Turbo 400 transmission. This truck runs and drives great! It is low geared. Motor fires right up. Does not smoke or make any funny noises! PTO Transfer case as well! The body is in excellent condition, Paint has been re done, Metallic brown color matched service box. There are a few chips in the white paint. New stainless grill & trim. Under side is clean for a 79'. There is no cancer in this truck! It is a very nice old Chevy! I think the name of the box is Knaphiede, has a lumber rack, lots of storage, and you can still slide a sheet of plywood in it! Paint is not perfect, but is real nice! The interior is clean as well! Bucket seats out of a semi with gas shocks have been installed along with a custom center console. CB radio, AM FM Radio, as well as a pop up sunroof! The dash in nice other then a couple cracks, The truck has a FACTORY TACH that works! Saddle fuel tanks that both work, AC is there, but does not blow cold (not sure if pump works) The carpet is clean, but does have some slices in it where cords have been pulled though.
