1967 PLYMOUTH GTX 440 SUPER COMMANDO ***NO RESERVE!!!*** Up for auction is this rare, #'s matching, 1967 Plymouth GTX 2 Door hard top 440 Super Commando 727 Automatic Factory 323 SureGrip Posi style limited slip rear-end, HD springs, Sway bar Factory power steering Factory power disc brakes with Bendix 4 piston calipers Factory air conditioning California car built at the Los Angeles plant Hard to find big block 440 super commando GTX. Was in storage for the last few years waiting to be restored. Drove great when it was parked several years ago. Engine still runs strong but has backfire under load and runs super rich, needs carb rebuild. Transmission is excellent. Brakes need attention. Unfortunately, the place where I was keeping it has been sold and I can't afford to restore it, nor can I afford to keep it somewhere else at this time, so I must part with it. Here is a list of the main issues; Glass is in excellent condition Still has super rare factory exhaust manifolds, Original cast iron intake and carb were swapped. Converted to electronic ignition. All Air conditioning components were removed from under hood. Original 440 engine was last bored 30 over with less than 10-15k mi on it Non factory hoodlocks Head light's, Tail lights and Blinker's work. I believe some of the dash lights need bulbs. The speedometer stuck just before it was put in storage. Original radio (unsure if it works, Prior owner also poorly enlarged the radio area for an aftermarket stereo) No headliner No carpet Front Door panels need to be replaced Front seats and rear bottom seat need to be to be redone, frames are excellent. Front floor board's are good. The Driver's side does have a few pinholes around the gas pedal area. Rear floor board's are excellent Undercarriage is excellent with nothing more than slight surface rust Trunk floor is excellent. Trunk spring holder needs repair Front Pass fender is not original. Trunk lid is not original. The lower corners of the rear window have some rust The edge along the trim of the rear wheels and the back lower quarters have rust holes and I do have replacement panels for that. I also have a replacement panel for the trunk edge which was poorly repaired by the prior owner. Other extra replacement parts include; Drivers and pass sun visors, drivers side view mirror, kick panels, headlight bezels, ashtray. Missing trunk GTX emblem and one of the fender emblems is oxidized on the G and X. Missing center 440 hood emblem.
