Selling my beloved Red truck. 1948 Chevrolet Thriftmaster pickup truck. This is a straight 6, Thriftmaster engine . 6 volt battery system.1/2 ton. Excellent mechanical condition.The heater and fan work fine. No rust on the truck. Choke and throttle cables all work fine. The radio is a new retro and it works but is disconnected at the moment. Seats have been restored 1 year ago. The truck bed has been re-stored with quarter sawn white oak 1 year ago. This truck has a 4 speed transmission on the floor. The odometer does not work and stopped at 80,000 miles so I have no way to tell how many miles are on it. The fuel gage doesn't work nor does the speedometer .The truck comes with the visor shown in the photos and a cover. There are scratches on the truck, many in the bed area (see Photos) there are no dents on the body. I was to the point of re-painting when I needed to sell. It has a very nice interior. Brakes were all serviced last Spring.and everything checked over by the mechanic. The Truck was in a short film last summer so you can see it in action at Vimeo.com56503780
