HONDA 1985 V30 MAGNA 500 VF500 Bought bike a few years ago. Put on new tires, front brake was rebuilt and a few other things. Have really only ridden around the neighborhood once in a while to make sure it still runs. Bought a bigger bike that i will probably ride more so need to make room in the garage. The pictures & video show the condition pretty well. There are scratches, dings, dents, some rust on chrome. The gas petcock valve leaks a little when you first turn it on. Was difficult to get started after sitting. Believe the carbs need a cleaning. Right now it doesnt want to idle normally (is to high or to low), it will stall unless choke is at least 1/2 on, bogs at low speed but then takes off when you give it a little more gas. Was tough to get started but then started well after warmed up. Runs well at higher speeds. You can see and hear this pretty well in the video. It ran much better before sitting. The fork seals leak a little. The RPM gauge will not go any higher than 3500 rpm. All other gauges and lights work as they should. Clymer service manual is included. Overall, is a fun bike to ride around. The hydraulic clutch is sweet. Video below was shot 4/14/2013. Title- Clean title in my name ready to go.
