Up for bids is a beautiful 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster convertible cabriolet. It has the 216 CID, 6-cylinder, 6-volt, 3-speed manual on the column transmission. The interior is from Hampton Coach. It has been painted in its original satin green lacquer color. It drives and shifts nicely. The top works great. No problems going cross country. Engine was rebuilt about a decade ago and only driven about 9,000 miles ever since. Not a perfect car, but definitely a head-turner!! Disclosures; the paint is better in the pictures than up close. The lacquer is showing cracks in a few areas and a paint job is in order. The chrome is faded on the grille. The tread on the tires is good, but they are faded on the whitewall part. The top is also showing its age. The title is held by Commerce Bank (through JJ Best Classic Car financiers). Not looking for trades. Personal inspections are fine...call 310-227-6353 to schedule.
