I am selling my good friend's 1965 American Rambler 220. She is a cancer survivor, thus the pink wheels and motor. The car has what we believe is the original 6 cyl motor, original interior in very nice condition, and an clean older paint job. Body is very straight with the exception of a hand-sized ding on the front left fender (see picture). The motor was rebuilt in 2011. (We have all shop receipts.) Rebuilt carburator, decent tires, good brakes, lights and horn in good working order. It is a 3 speed manual on the column. Car runs very well. Newer sound system installed with AM/FM/CD. Perfect glass, solid doors, windows all operate fine. Repair manual and spare tire in the trunk along with jack and some spare parts. This little motor should get great mileage. Gas guage and temp guage not working for some reason, but everything else does. Clean Ca. title and registration is current. Body, trunk and door jambs have NO rust. NADA lists this car's value from $4410 in average condition-$6975 in high-end condition. Reserve is set lower that NADA values.NOTE: One ebay member has commented that the flathead 6 cyl engine is probably not the original motor for the car. But it was rebuilt and is in good running condition. Thanks!NOTE: Ha! Another ebay member wrote me to say being a base model care it probably is the correct motor for the car. Oh well...it's a good motor. Lol
