Up for sale is this super clean 2008 BMW 328i. This BMW was involved in hurricane Sandy and is being sold with a flood salvage title. The car does not appear to be a high flood. When we received the car the dash light up, the sunroof opened and closed, the ac/heater controls illuminated and the blower worked, the radio came on but with static, the power locks worked, the trunk popper opened the trunk, and the headlight and tail lights all functioned. We were unable to start the vehicle because we do not have the electronic key for it. We only have the mechanical key for it. The mechanical key will only open the drivers side door, the glove box, and the trunk. It will not start the vehicle. So, we are unsure if it will start and have not tried to do so because we do not have the proper electronic key. I brought the car to a electrician who specializes in flood cars and he said the car will need the lower fuse box and module located on the lower dash panel, and the harness that the battery connects to in the trunk. He removed these items and they have some corrosion. This was not a high flood but it will need some work to get it running again. The engine and transmission are 100%. All the fluids are clean and we do not believe any water damaged any of the drivetrain. The body of this car is super clean and the interior is very nice as well. When we got the vehicle the dash lit up and it said the vehicle had approximately 38,000 miles on it. This looks like it was a very well taken cared of vehicle and is totally worthy of being fixed up and put back on the road again. This vehicle will have to be towed to its new located when you purchase it.This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied.
