Vehicle Detail
1975 Alfa GTV Solid driver, runs excellent. Lots of upgrades. Panasport Wheels, IAP Sport Springs, Bilstein Shocks, cross-drilled rotors, Weber Carbs, Electronic Ignition, limit-slip 4:11 gears and 2 1/4" stainless exhaust. This is a rare last production year car imported to the US in the 90s by the italian mechanic I bought it from. This alfa runs strong, sounds great and handles like a go kart. One of the best handling and braking classic cars I've ever driven. Painted only a year ago, so looks sharp, however the body guy made some unfortunate mistakes and rust has popped through in a couple of places. Driver's Rear Fender has large crack in front of wheel well where water was able to collect. Drivers floor also has a hole. The rust is unfortunate, especially considering the very recent paint work, however it is not beyond repair. Engine rebuilt 3-years ago. Gearbox was replaced with fresher used box at the same time as the engine, but as is typical with most alfas, it still has a slight crunch if you aren't careful about shifting into 2nd gear. This car does get driven and does have cosmetic flaws, but is very solid mechanically and ready to be enjoyed for many years to come. While the rust will eventually need attention, the car can be driven and enjoyed as-is. Buy it now and enjoy the summer and save the bodywork for a winter project. A lot of car for the money and reserve has been set low to reflect the cosmetic issues. Priced to sell, if you have any questions or can't wait and would like to put in an offer, please call Zac at 212.229.2402 This car is being offered by Classic Car Club Manhattan Classic Car Club Manhattan. Classic Car Club is a members club where a select group of members join to share access to a fleet of cars. The fleet is curated and maintained by our staff. All regular maintenance is performed by our professional staff and the cars are check-listed and topped off, literally every time they hit the road. While cars like this do accumulate some miles, they are also meticulously maintained throughout their time on the road.
