Up for sale is this beautiful 2005 Ford Mustang Convertible. This Mustang is in excellent shape and has good mileage. Unfortunately, this car was involved in hurricane sandy and its being sold with a NYS salvage certificate . This vehicle was a light flood. It looks like the water entered the vehicle and just got into the footwells, near the lower seat cushion. It runs and drives 100% and no water entered the drivetrain at all. I have taken this vehicle for drives on the highway and it seems to drive very well. The engine sounds and feels strong and the transmission shifts the way it should. Mostly all the electronics in the vehicle work the way they should but there are a few small issues that will need addressing. The power seats do not work because water got into the connections under the seat. These connections will need to be cleaned out or replaced. This also triggered the SRS light to come one the dash. Also, the convertible top will not go down because the rear power windows will not lower. We had the convertible top motors tested and they are all good and in perfect working order. The top will only not lower because the rear windows are not going down. I had it checked and was told the top module need to be repalced , then the top should work again. The radio also is not working .All of the other functions in the car are working the way they should. This car also has new brakes, oil and transmission fluid just changed, and there are like new tired all around. This Mustang is loaded up to the max with every available option that could have been ordered on a base model .The Mustang has leather seats ,with a power drivers seat ,alumiun dash skin, Shaker 500 radio system plus more.We also have all the owners manuals and books. There is no major dents or scratches to talk about and the paint shines like glass. There are no nicks or sctaches on the body.The top is in very good condition with no rips or tairs or worn out sections The interior of the car is also in very nice shape.
