I have a nice Pontiac Star Chief I am listing for my friend who has decided to part with it. It was mostly taken to local car shows etc. Please ask any questions and I will get answers from him promptly. It has been stored for about the last four years, but does run and drive. The body is solid and the glass looks good except for a crack I noticed on the lower corner of the passenger side window. The paint has a nice shine, but there are some good size scratches that need to be touched up. The chrome is not perfect with some rust spots here and there along with scratches, but cleans up nice still. Since getting it out of storage, I changed the oil and added some brake fluid along with a light cleaning. It could use more detailing as well as checking over the brakes ( wheel cylinders etc. ). The brakes pumped up, but I have not removed the wheels. I also noticed the manual choke is disconnected and the heater core has been disconnected since the previous owner. Overall it needs some T.L.C., but runs nice and actually is quieter than my little Toyota truck engine. It has a 316 engine that Pontiac used in the Star Chief in 1955 and 1956 only. Speedometer is not functioning and there are some small holes in the front seat with a break in the plastic seat trim also headliner has some stains along with some small tears. I am including many pictures so you can see what you are getting. We have the pink slip in hand and it is currently on non-op status at the DMV. Overall, it could be a daily driver with minimal maintenance. Please feel free to ask any questions.
