Vehicle Detail
85 year old 5 window rumble seat survivor car ready to start build. Body Is in good shape and only has rust on lower rear wheel wells on the exterior and on parts of the floor inside. The car has never been molested or cut anywhere. Dash is immaculate and still has original paint. Gauge cluster is there with minor pitting but the rare piece is repairable. Doors are in very good shape inside and out. Fenders and hood have dents but are repairable comes with light bar and headlights. The deck lid and seats are missing but the rumble seat base is still in the trunk. Has sun visor that needs a little straightening out. Fire wall is in good condition with factory blue paint as well. Frame and suspension are in great condition and have not been tampered with. No motor. No transmission. No grille. Has running gear and torsion bars. The wheels are a matching set. This is a great start to a restoration, rat rod, street rod, or 60's custom. They are hard to find in good shape. Look closely at pictures. Being sold as is with bill of sale only. No title. Please feel free to ask any questions. Can help with delivery within 500 mi. Of zip 88260 for a nominal fee.On Feb-20-13 at 13:38:43 PST, seller added the following information: if you look at the pictures of the rear window, you will see that it appears to be butchered up, but this is a RARE "SPECIAL COUPE 49A" not a standard model a coupe 45A. you can see where the glass fit in, but the other area was filled in with artificial leather, not metal. this one appears to have been painted "VAGABOND GREEN" which would make it a '29 model because no '28's came in any green (but i dont know the history on the car, just seems like it has never been repainted) According to my research, i do believe it to be a 1929 model a special coupe 49a. they were only made in 28 and 29, not in 30 and 31. this is YOUR chance to OWN a RARE model a SPECIAL COUPE IN GREAT SHAPE! I DID NOT KNOW THIS INFO. BEFORE LISTING BUT WILL LEAVE RESERVE WHERE ITS AT AND BUY IT NOW IS STILL AT $5k! dont miss out!! good luck!
